Merry Christmas 2013

This was Addison's second Christmas and it was even better than the first one!

Holiday fun started with celebrating Saint Nicholas day on December 6th.  Addison received the Little People Nativity this year!

She loves it but kept trying to get me to take baby Jesus out of his bed and didn't understand why I wouldn't help her.  I found Jesus all around the apartment for the rest of the month :)

Addison and I had fun decorating the apartment.  She helped me make a paper tree and then she was so proud of the ornaments she colored for it, it was adorable.

I also made paper snowflakes for all the windows.  For my first time making snowflakes I think they turned out really well and are super pretty :)

We also painted a picture for Santa and sent him a letter.  Santa even wrote back a letter to Addison  :)

We put up our first ever Christmas tree this year and got to hang up our ornaments.  I was excited by that!

Since the boy were with their dads on Christmas day we celebrated Christmas with Sam and Joe the Saturday before.

It was a good time and all three kids played with their new toys until they couldn't keep their eyes open any longer.

On Christmas Eve she was really into reading Twas The Night Before Christmas :)

Christmas morning Grandma and Grandpa were here when we woke up!  We spent the morning with them and opened up what Santa had saved for Christmas day :)

Addison received accessories for her baby-dolls and loves them.

We wore Grandma out

We also found out Grandpa is great at playing Princess Ponies ;)

Christmas Fun with Friends!

A friend in playgroup had a big cookie decorating party for all the kids at her house!  She made a bunch of sugar cookies in different shapes and we call came over and decorated the cookies :)  Addison was a pro at eating them ;)  She also enjoyed playing with the sprinkles.

Only a couple made it home that day because Joe was pretty good at eating them too.

Another day I had a few friends over to make salt dough ornaments :)  Two friends and their five children were there.  So I had 6 children from 3 months old to 4 years old in my apartment at one time, it was a full house!

The kids had a great time playing with the dough.

And playing will all of Addison's toys.

Addison was just thrilled there was a baby there she could hold ;)

In the end it was a successful day of fun in which we were able to make gifts that every Grandparent is sure to love <3

Jolly Days

Addison, Grandma and I spent a day at the Children's Museum enjoying Jolly Days.  We had a blast and got to see Santa!

She screamed when we tried to have Santa hold her so I got to sit with them, although she still wasn't so sure about that either.

Addison went down the small slide there...

A big slide...

And the giant slide too!

It's hard to really get a good photo of it, but the slide goes from the second floor to the first floor of the building.  It was super fun!  We had a great day :)
