County Fair

 

This past week was the Putnam County 4H Fair!  Joe, Addison and I went one day and then another day Grandma and Grandpa joined us :)  Addison had a blast at her first fair!

 

Joe loved playing all the games, Addison loved all the animals and they both loved the fresh ice cream from the local dairy cows.  After we got home from the fair the first night Addison stayed up and excitedly babbled for an hour and a half straight before finally falling asleep.

 

First Swim Lessons!

Addison loved "Water Baby" swim lessons!  In the under 2 class the main goal is to get comfortable with the water and to have fun.  She more than exceeded that goal :)  By the end of the ten lessons she was floating on her tummy just holding onto my hands and doing a sort of push up in the shallow part where she touched the ground and floated the rest of her body by herself.  She also enjoyed all the pool toys provided and staring at the other babies.

 

 

 

Addison was the only one in her class to make it to the end of each session without crying or wanting out.  Plus each day we stayed at least a half hour after.  She may be part fish ;)

15 Months Old

 

Addison is 1 and a quarter now! She becomes more toddler like everyday with getting better at control of her body and becoming more vocal everyday. She can stand on her own and takes a couple steps at a time without touching anything if she's not thinking about it, but then grabs right back onto something.

 

She now has 12 teeth to keep sparkling!

 

She found her belly button this past month and it was super exciting!

 

 

She had her first taste of ice cream with her friend Kyler and has enjoyed mealtimes and drinks lots of water

 

 

She loves seeing her friends at the Library for Toddler Story-Time and is getting the hand-eye coordination down with the crafts.  I just have to keep a close eye cause she sometimes still likes to try to taste the paint and glue ;)

 

 

She has become a very busy baby and only slows down when she falls fast asleep.
