Easter 2014

The weekend before Easter Joe and I took Addison to her first Easter Egg hunt!  She was a bit confused by it, but I think she enjoyed herself.  We went to the one in Greencastle because they separate theirs into age groups, so it was just 1 and 2 year olds in her group.  As you can see it wasn't much of a hunt to find them, but she was still a challenge :)

Easter day Addison and I dyed a couple hard boiled eggs, with the cats help.  She made a huge mess and kept moving the eggs back and forth from the carton to the dye and back again.  She kept seeing how many eggs she could get in the same containers.  It was an adventure and I sure am happy it was nice enough we could do it outside!

Then I hid the eggs in the grass outside our apartment for her to find.

Later that day when Grandma and Uncle Joe came home the Easter Bunny brought them their baskets.  Addison got some chalk, bubbles, a little book, a ball and a pinwheel.  Joe got lots of candy :)

We spent the afternoon with Grandma and then later Uncle Sam came to visit, it was a happy Easter.

Addison's 2nd Birthday!

Addison is already 2!

Joe and I decorated the house with some decorations she picked out and balloons the night before so she woke up to them :)  She also picked out the napkins and plates for her party, she loves Sesame Street.

In the morning we took Joe to the doctor and then the three of us went out for brunch at a place called Emmy's

Then we went home where we watched Frozen(again) while playing with balloons until Grandma got there.  Took a nice nap and then headed to the Park once Sam arrived.  Addison received a tricycle from Grandma and Grandpa, she loves it and the boys were so sweet showing her how to ride it.

After dinner we went home to open presents and have cake!

She had a fantastic day and put on a pair of her new PJs and continued to play until she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore.

24 Months, aka 2 Years Old!

It's finally warming up!  We spent every nice day we could playing outside, it's so great to be outside again!  She loves the park and is getting the hang of the slides.  She has started running, it is the cutest thing ever.  She has mastered going up and down stairs by herself and in general has better control of her body now :)  She has gone on the potty a couple times but still isn't too interested in the idea.  She "talks" constantly, but few actual words in there.

One day Joe and Addison build a blanket fort and they had a great time, it was adorable <3

Addison received her first bed, a toddler bed.

Grandpa also had his 65th birthday!
